Montelibero's Transhumanist Manifesto

1. Freedom exists not only "from" but also "for", its negative and positive meanings are inseparable and need to be protected and ensured in their entirety.

2. This means that, first of all, freedom is manifested in the properties and state of the subject of freedom, in his survival, improvement and expansion of his capabilities.

3. We understand that in their essence, freedom, power and opportunity are synonymous, however, since we, as subjects of activity, are primarily dependent on each other (over the past hundred thousand years, the external environment has changed minimally, and humanity has been radically transformed), ethical issues are of paramount importance in the issue of empowering participants and in them we unequivocally recognize the golden moral rule. Seeking to do unto others as we would have them do unto us, we reject all forms of coercion and aggressive violence.

4. Refusing to coerce each other alone is not enough to preserve the subjectivity of any of us, it is also necessary to make efforts for our survival and improvement, which would allow us, as systems of genes and memes, to survive and maintain our agency in the long term, including in the face of increasing risks of man-made disasters and competition with artificial intelligence. This cannot be achieved without a qualitative transition of us or our descendants to qualitatively higher forms of evolutionary development, which we must contribute to in every possible way. However, we also understand that the main obstacle to this development and qualitative transition in it is archaic social and legal institutions - remnants of the agrarian system, based on territorial aggressive monopoly and denial of the right to freedom of association and, as a result, experiments and development of the population as a whole.

5. In order to preserve and empower people, the first thing we need is the rejection of mutual destruction, which means peace, consolidation and integration, so we are cosmopolitans who will consistently advocate, among other things, for the internationalization of the community, the development of its international and global relations.

6. Maximizing and prolonging the life expectancy of a capable life, as well as preserving and, in the long term, restoring the personality, immortalism is another priority task of our community. As part of this, we will strive to develop and implement any technologies and practices that solve the problem of human aging and mortality, including, but not limited to, the practices of personal digitization, cryonics, cyborgization, and any other available science-based technological solutions.

7. Preserving and increasing the reproduction of community members, as well as improving their heredity (eugenics) is no less, and for the transhumanist community as a whole, even more important (otherwise there will be nothing to preserve) and also requires us to develop and support specific solutions in this area.

8. For all the priorities described here, the Transhumanist Faction will consolidate, on the basis of the Montelibero Association, resources and implement algorithms that solve these applied problems within the framework of its program and invite all persons who are also interested in this to join it. At the same time, we understand that the scale of the tasks we are trying to solve, due to their complexity, cannot be made by any isolated group, therefore, as our primary priority, we will strive to preserve and strengthen the Association as a whole, since only its positive economies of scale give us a chance of success.
