Montenegro was chosen as a relatively poor, cheap, and therefore widely accessible country for moving and living, with a small and diverse population, nevertheless being a European liberal democracy in a comfortable Mediterranean climate and geography[2].
As of mid-2024, the project has over a hundred permanent immigrants in the country and several thousand digital community members who participate in it ad hoc and remotely.
The community implements its own private village based on libertarian principles and technologies, such as extensive use of mobile modular and geodome construction, NFT and blockchain tokenization in all aspects of its real estate and a DAO as the decision-making system within it.
