Liberland is not yet recognized micronation (but striving to be). It is located on a 7 sq. km piece of land between Croatia and Serbia. The piece of land is not claimed by both Croatia and Serbia due to their multi-year border dispute, thus allowing Czech libertarian Vít Jedlička to claim the territory and establish the new country of Liberland in 2015. After 8 years of diplomacy Liberland got an unofficial access to the land from Croatia in August 2023, yet there are still exists a lot of pressure from croatian authorities and local police preventing settlers to fully develop the land. | |||

Description
Liberland is not yet recognized micronation (but striving to be). It is located on a 7 sq. km piece of land between Croatia and Serbia. The piece of land is not claimed by both Croatia and Serbia due to their multi-year border dispute, thus allowing Czech libertarian Vít Jedlička to claim the territory and establish the new country of Liberland in 2015.
